Welcome to the Rape Crisis Center

Serving Dane County since 1973, the Rape Crisis Center (RCC) provides services to the survivors (and their family and friends) of all forms of sexual violence, including recent sexual assault, past sexual assault, incest (past or present), sexual harassment, and sexual exploitation.

These services are provided free of charge and include crisis intervention and support (24 hour Crisis Line and on-call Advocate/Counselors) short-term counseling, support groups, therapy groups, medical/legal advocacy and accompaniment, community education, and Chimera Self- Defense Designed for Women. RCC serves women, children, and men.



Drop-In Support Group 2010

A sexual assault survivor group will be held every Tuesday starting June 1 - August 10, 2010 from 6:00-7:30 PM (no group on July 6). The group is held in the Campus Women's Center, on the 4th floor of the Memorial Union (800 Langdon Street, Madison, WI 53706).

Bi-lingual Legal Advocate Hiring




15th Annual Coffee Tasting Event to Benefit the Rape Crisis Center

Java Jive is the Rape Crisis Center's signature fundraising event of the year, featuring a coffee tasting, breakfast, silent auction, and raffle donated by local businesses. The event also features live jazz from Madison's very own Jan Wheaton Duo.

Bring in your old cell phones!
Donated cell phones are sent to a recycling program and in return, RCC receives money to support our free services. You can drop off your old cell phone or organize a cell phone drop box and bring the phones in to RCC's main office at 2801 Coho Street, Suite 301.
